A really informative 3 hours to kick-start your city-break
This was a fantastic tour, with a very knowledgeable guide. Victoria knew so much about the history of Hungary & this beautiful city. As a long-time resident of Budapest, she was full of interesting cultural stories about life there. It was a great way to kick-start our city-break. It not only gave us an entertaining historical perspective, but also provided us with useful landmarks to orient ourselves with, & plenty of local intel about how to get the most out of our stay. I can't recommend this tour enough. It is ridiculously cheap & I hope people are generous in tipping Victoria as she worked very hard for the 3 hours of the tour, & covered a lot of ground. Excellent tour and even better tour guide!
Very interesting and immersive walking tour. Our tour guide was excellent and kept us interested the entire time. We went as part of a class trip for university so it was important that we learned about the history of Budapest and, thanks to Sabi, we got an excellent tour of Budapest and learned about it’s rich history. Wonderful Introduction to Budapest History, Culture and Art.
What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon and a wonderful introduction to Budapest! Our guide was patient, informative, and warm. He shared interesting stories about Budapest's landmarks and recommended different attractions, restaurants, and activities along the way. Excellent and family entertaining.
The tour was brilliant as always. They are knowledge able. One of the guides Victoria is verry knowledgeable and She has a verry cute Irish smooth fox terrier dog. Our kid was playing with him while We enjoyed the entertainment. They keep their tours small and private unlike other companies. You can ask a question and their guide will give you proper attention. Highly recommend tour !
We did this free tour on our trip to Budapest and I have to say It was much better than I expected!! I recommend to do this free tour the first day u arrive, bc the guide gives u recommendations of places to go and activities to do!! Our guide gave us a quite detailed explanation of most land-markings in Budapest, and helped us to understand a little bit better Hungarian history and culture from different points of view, which I loved.
